particular after scanning a QR code, in order to request, arrange or manage an
appointment with a brand, a point of sale or an advisor.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
The Be MyGuest service is operated by RETAIL DEVELOPMENT SERVICES, a
company registered with the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register (RCS) under
number 830 440 475, whose registered office is located at 5 boulevard des Bouvets,
92000 Nanterre, France.
For processing carried out through Be MyGuest for the purpose of recording and
managing your appointment request, RETAIL DEVELOPMENT SERVICES acts as
the data controller.
The brand, retail chain or point of sale with which you request an appointment may
receive the information strictly necessary for the organisation and conduct of this
appointment. If this party subsequently uses your data for purposes of its own, it is
responsible for providing you with the information required in respect of such
processing.

2. What data may we collect?
Depending on the process used and the information required for your appointment,
Be MyGuest may collect:
• the requested date and time for the appointment;
• the purpose or reason for your visit;
• your preference, if any, regarding an advisor;
• your surname and first name;
• your email address;
• your telephone number;
• how you became aware of the brand or point of sale;
• an indication as to whether or not you are already a customer of the brand;
• any comments or additional information that you choose to provide;
• if you agree to receive commercial communications: evidence of your consent,
the date thereof and the communication channels selected.
Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory where they are necessary for the
organisation of the appointment. The other fields are optional and are used in
particular to better prepare your visit or to produce statistical analyses regarding the
use of the service.
We invite you to provide in free-text fields only information that is useful for your
appointment and not to enter any special categories of personal data within the
meaning of the GDPR.
3. Why do we use your data ?
Your data may be used for the following purposes:
• recording, confirming, modifying or cancelling your appointment request;
• enabling the organisation of the appointment with the relevant brand, point of
sale or advisor;
• contacting you when information relating to your appointment is necessary;
• monitoring your request and ensuring the proper functioning of the service;
• preventing fraudulent, abusive or malicious use of the service;
• producing statistics on the use of Be MyGuest and improving the quality of the
service, in particular on the basis of aggregated or anonymised data;
• only if you have expressly consented thereto, sending you by email and/or
SMS news, new collections, invitations, events or commercial offers relating to
the brand with which you have made an appointment.
Consent to receive commercial communications is optional and is never a condition
for making or obtaining an appointment via Be MyGuest.

5. What information is mandatory?
The information identified as mandatory in the form is necessary to enable Be
MyGuest to process your request. If you fail to provide it, we may not be able to
record or arrange your appointment.
The information identified as optional may be left blank without, in principle,
preventing the submission of your request. The choice of whether or not to receive
commercial communications is always optional.
6. Who may access your data?
To the extent necessary for the performance of their duties, your data may be
accessible to:
• authorised members of the staff and employees of RETAIL DEVELOPMENT
SERVICES involved in the operation of Be MyGuest;
• the brand, retail chain, point of sale or relevant advisor when certain
information is necessary for the organisation or conduct of the appointment;
• the technical service providers of RETAIL DEVELOPMENT SERVICES
involved in particular in hosting, maintenance, security, the sending of
notifications, emails or SMS messages, or the operation of the service;
• administrative or judicial authorities where disclosure is required by law.
RETAIL DEVELOPMENT SERVICES does not sell your personal data. Reports
intended for brands are, insofar as possible, prepared on the basis of aggregated or
anonymised data that does not enable you to be identified.
7. How long do we retain your data?
Data relating to the appointment. The data necessary for the organisation and
monitoring of your appointment are retained for the period necessary to manage it,
and then for a maximum period of three (3) months from the scheduled date of the
appointment, unless a particular need or legal obligation justifies a longer retention
period.
Data used for commercial communication purposes. Where you have expressly
agreed to receive news, new collections, invitations, events or commercial offers by
email and/or SMS, the contact details necessary for such communication may be
retained for a maximum period of three (3) years from their collection or from the last
active contact initiated by you, unless you withdraw your consent beforehand.
You may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect
the lawfulness of processing carried out before such withdrawal. At the end of the
applicable retention period, your data are deleted or anonymised, unless their
retention is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation or for the establishment,
exercise or defence of legal claims.
Information strictly necessary to demonstrate your consent or to comply with a
request to unsubscribe or object may be retained for the period necessary to provide
evidence of and comply with such choices.
Statistics that have been effectively anonymised may be retained beyond these
periods provided that they no longer enable you to be identified directly or indirectly.
8. Transfers of data outside the European Economic Area
RETAIL DEVELOPMENT SERVICES gives preference to service providers that
enable data to be processed within the European Economic Area. However,
depending on the tools used, certain technical service providers may process data
from a country located outside this area.
Where a transfer of personal data to a third country is carried out, RETAIL
DEVELOPMENT SERVICES ensures that it is based on a mechanism recognised by
the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, in particular the
European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

The data collected in connection with making an appointment through Be MyGuest
are not subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces

attendance, the periods most in demand or the reasons for visits. These analyses are
intended to be carried out in an aggregated or anonymised form and are not used to
make an automated individual decision concerning you.
10. What are your rights ?
Under the conditions provided for by the GDPR and applicable regulations, you have,
in particular :
• a right of access to your personal data ;
• a right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• a right to erasure in the cases provided for by applicable regulations;
• a right to restriction of processing;
• a right to object to processing based on legitimate interest, on grounds
relating to your particular situation;
• a right to data portability where the statutory conditions are met;
• the right to withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based
on consent, in particular for commercial communications.
Each electronic commercial communication must also allow for simple unsubscribing.

version accessible from the Be MyGuest interface. In the event of a substantial
